The Oscar winner diva Sandra Bullock shares her secret about fostering and adopting her 3.5-year-old daughter ‘Laila’ for the very first time.
Before adopting Laila, Sandra was already a mother to a 5-year-old son Louis but she tells that having adopted ‘Laila’ gave her purpose of life.
“I have to be honest and say, the thought of having a daughter scared me,”. She tells People exclusively in this week’s cover story.
Bullock told, “My mother always used to say,” “you just wait till you have daughter”. She added, “and the thought that a daughter of mine would be anything like I was scared me senseless.”
“Before my mom passed away, we had a moment at her bedside where I was shut down and trying not to cry, and she simply said, ‘Don’t be like me,’ ” recalls the star.
